As Ron and a few others say... why would Assad use chemical weapons, especially since Assad's been winning for a few months? Why risk using chem weapons and getting western powers more involved?

Just seems illogical and does not make sense. Now, perhaps chemical weapons were used a long time ago... but no way to tell who used it. I doubt chemical weapons depos are strongly and securely gaurded.
