My former rep Huelskamp voted for the NDAA but voted the right way on almost all the amendments. The amendments are still more important than the final vote, in my opinion.

Does the Senate vote on it next? If so, was there a senate equivalent of the Smith-Amash/Gibson amendment and did any senator vote for it? Which senators voted against the NDAA last year, just Rand?

I agree that votes on individual amendments are more meaningful, but even a symbolic vote against the NDAA itself is nice too.

If the NDAA failed to pass, wouldn't indefinite detention still exist because of the 2012 one? I don't see how voting no shows much of anything.

I believe Bentivolio was the same way and that's fine with me. Conversely, those who voted both against the NDAA and the amendments (I believe Mulvaney is one of them) aren't heroes at all.
