The blimp should hit states based on their primary order. How cool would that be?

Based on the distances involved and population density, I don't think it will be very practical to take the blimp to Iowa.

Yeah it has to fly everywhere, its not exactly fast, and it's limited in the number of hours it can be operated per month under contract ... and it's susceptible to weather, so Iowa would probably be out for that reason, as likely will be NH, even Boston/New York new years is questionable ...

South Carolina (where it starts), Philadelphia, NYC, Boston and then New Hampshire primary week...

Well, if we can't get a guarantee that it will be in Boston and New York, then I'm withdrawing my pledge.

it will be in boston for the tea party. it can fly over and around new york, but we still aren't sure if they will allow it over times square for new years

Isn't the blimp restricted to the southern states?

Based on the distances involved and population density, I don't think it will be very practical to take the blimp to Iowa.

I read in another thread that the blimp can travel for 100 hours during the month it is available, at a top speed of 60 miles per hour. (Correct these numbers if they are wrong.) That's 6,000 miles -- or almost across the country and back. Iowa should be no problem.

That being said, I think the blimp flight should concentrate on the East Coast, which is much more heavily populated, and try to hit the early Eastern primary states as much as possible.

Something like this:

Iowa
Milwaukee
Chicago
Detroit
Cleveland
Pittsburgh
upstate New York
New Hampshire
Boston
New York City
Philadelphia
District of Columbia
Virginia
North Carolina
South Carolina
Georgia
Florida

And hit these early primary states if possible: AL, CT, DE, ME, MN, NJ, TN, and WV

If there is a snow storm in Iowa or New Hampshire, Ron Paul does well. If the weather is good, then Ron Paul will have the blimp and he will do well.
