I just clicked on a google ad. It is a grassroots consultation group.

We may want to consider, at this point in the game, getting a professional perspective on our grassroots activities. Could help us to focus. Let's face it, we are all amateurs at this...even the official RP staff has no experience in national campaigns and getting a President elected.

We have done amazing things, but there comes a time when a new level needs to be reached.

I am sure they are expensive, but we have the ability to raise money (in fact I wonder if all the money raised for the blimp would be better spent here).

Anyway, I am just tossing this out there to get your initial feedback.

This would not involve the official campaign. We would band together as grassroots to become the "client".

Seriously, though.. what could they tell us that 100,000 people couldn't have already thought of? I'm not writing it off, just not sure how useful it'd be..

Judging by their front page writeup, these are probably the sorts of groups hired by an Obama to try and 'create' a 'grassroots' in the firstplace. The cheesy e-mails, copycat moneybombs, etc. are probably the work of this and similar consultants.

worth considering, but we probably don't need them. while it's true that we're mostly clueless, just looking back on our history as a grassroots movement, i'd say we're on the right track. i'm sure other campaigns use things like this, but none of them have anything close to what we have. i say we continue doing the opposite of the other campaigns and forging ahead with brilliant, groundbreaking ideas (money bomb, blimp, etc.) have you noticed how they are all trying to become like us? that's because what we do works, and what they do does not. by the time any other campaign can even come close to organizing a decent money bomb, we'll have already won the primaries.

I'll check and see if they give discounts to non-profits.

The campaign has already provided meaningful grassroots training through the ronpaul2008.com website.

Sign up as a volunteer, and you will be welcomed into a world of understanding delegates, priorities, and how to communicate the message to people who are unfamiliar with Dr. Paul and/or his positions.

Subject: Capital Requirements to Engage Your Services for a Non-Profit in a LARGE Effort

Hi,

I'm a 'grassroots volunteer' for the Ron Paul Presidential Campaign.

This is, as you may know, a very large and diverse group of volunteers.

One volunteer suggested that the Ron Paul Grassroots take a step higher
and perhaps consult with professionals.

She found your company, and posted about it at RonPaulForums.com

Link to thread: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?p=469168&posted=1#post469168

There was a mention of concern regarding Capital requirements
to engage such a service, thus, my letter to you.

Currently, there is no fund established for the consultation, however,
with more information on costs ect, the Ron Paul grassroots usually responds.

Personally, I have a non-profit tax-exempt "Religious Organization" that's been Incorporated in North Carolina
for the past 9 years, however, I have not and will not apply for 501-C3 Federal Status, so,
any donations are not tax deductible.

So, with that in mind, I was hoping that your company would send me any information that you find relevant.

Thank you,
Rev Mark Cahall
Raleigh, NC

Thanks Mark. Cannot hurt to look into this.

I know we are doing really well, everyone. But and organization such as this may provide some additional focus for us. I just want to explore all options and all tools available at our disposal.

Let me know if you get a response.

We have enough talented people working for free. I don't think we need to pay for it. The talent is right here.
