With the economy in crisis mode, Dr. Paul's message should be especially effective in the debates tomorrow. "We can't afford to fight all these wars. We are going bankrupt." Doesn't sound so kooky now does it?
If CNN doesn't devote at least half of the debate to domestic and global economic issues, it will be a travesty. Everyone is watching their stock portfolio evaporate in the stock market, and is quickly realizing that any savings in US dollars is evaporating as well.
As much as I personally fear what is happening with the economy, it can only add strength to Dr. Paul's message and me-thinks people will be listening closely to what the candidates have to say.
I am going to be absolutely glued to the TV tomorrow and plan to invite friends over to watch it with me. The timing for this debate really couldn't be better.
