The corruption in our capitals is funded and fueled by the money press. Removal of this power is essential for restoring liberty to the American people, if through government waste comes government failure then that is more blessing than not. The real problem here is not that the government may go bankrupt but that our money is tied to them. If our monetary unit which is the expression of our labor standardly accepted for exchange of goods and services was not tied to the government, then their bankruptcy would be with the current state of events most welcome as long as the military was solvent. The beurocrats would be forced out by lack of funds, the corrupt politicians would have to search elsewhere for their free ride, and those who abuse government would have to face a very angry population demanding their proverbial heads on a platter.

This is coming one way or another. We need Dr. Paul to get us out of the fed notes so when the existing government structure falls (hopefully slowly redacted instead) we can safely transition and most importantly have sound money in our pockets - there will be a lot of government dependents for us to take care of. And we will have our work cut out for us rebuilding this nation's industrial base, adapting to compete with other economies (we've always been global, nothing has changed there), and ultimately making sure that "the little guy" is taken care of.

It's almost funny when you think about why they really are going to stop at nothing to keep an honest man out of the white house.
