statement by BAH:

"Booz Allen can confirm that Edward Snowden, 29, was an employee of our firm for less than 3 months, assigned to a team in Hawaii. Snowden, who had a salary at the rate of $122,000, was terminated June 10, 2013 for violations of the firm’s code of ethics and firm policy. News reports that this individual has claimed to have leaked classified information are shocking, and if accurate, this action represents a grave violation of the code of conduct and core values of our firm. We will work closely with our clients and authorities in their investigation of this matter."

They will find much more with which to smear him. I'm not interested in his personal shortcomings. He may have cheated on his girlfriend or failed to call his Mom on Mother's Day...I don't care about those things.

they could very well be purposely misleading. In most cases salary is only a portion of the total compensation package. Benefits aside, a person could also be receiving commission, bonuses or extra pay for working in a high cost area ie Hawaii.

WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH FACILITATING THE DESTRUCTION OF THE CONSTITUTION?

HOW DO YOU THINK YOUR COLLUSION WITH A FOREIGN, ILLEGAL, ILLEGITIMATE ENTITY WILL PROTECT YOUR RETIREMENT PACKAGE?

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO SELL OUT YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND NEIGHBORS?

How is that smear and on whom? I don't recall ES stating any figures.
That is still a ton of money for a 29 year old living in Hawaii.

He did in the Guardian article, but who cares. Smear the accuser, oldest game in the books.

He was a CIA field operative remember getting swiss bankers drunk/. Nobody ever leaves the CIA. There's no such thing as ex-CIA.

Although this looks like one way to "get out" !

The CIA is not what it used to be,lots of geeks and I bet lots get out . There are probably around 4 million Top Secret Security clearances , probably a quarter belong to different intel , half of those are civilian contracters, I reckon.
