Yeah, but my thought process is that at this point they already know everything anyway. Although I'm not quite sure about that sicne I'm not a US citizen. Then again that could make me more likely to be observed. But I don't know if there are similar extreme data gatherings going on in Europe and if I'm profiled there too.

Also, given what we know about all of it, don't you believe the Feds know your name, adress and what you stand for anyways as of know? What's stopping me from at least making it public at this point. I mean, I've Ron Paul as my personal hero on facebook for quite some time know, which is probably more than enough to raise red flags.

To learn about Ron Paul and Ludwig von Mises. And to be aware what a great guy Ed Snowden is - in fact a hero, not an enemy of humanity.

And honestly, the more time goes by, the more I come to the conclusion that all the people you mentioned can go fuck themselves if they don't like the fact that I hate their fascist asses. More and more people are waking up anyway, so they are soon in the minority. Hell, I've read a few Edward Snowden stories on Austrian news websites, some of them fairly leftist, and all the commentators love this guy. And even on the most socialist newspapers people suddenly go berserk on Obama (who used to be some kind of Messiah to these people). Some are even calling him worse than Bush and aren't even challenged on this. I would have never dreamed about such a paradigm shift a few years ago. The state is intellectually bankrupt and people start to recognize this fact for the first time, thanks to the internet - and because this information is spread. Speaking of Facebook, I've had an interesting week so far. One of my friends on the left is calling for treason, etc. he has his lips wrapped firmly around Obama's you know what. The other friend on the left hasn't said a word publicly, but messages me about getting donations setup for Snowden via bitcoin. He is on board, and there is a huge opening for us to start educating those that care about their privacy and why limited government is the only way to go, but they have to be consistent about it.

Back during the Vietnam war, I remember that there was a lot of people that wore POW bracelets. As a matter of fact it was a huge thing in the late 60's and early 70's. It would be really awesome if we could come up with a Ed Snowden "Hero" bracelet that we could sell and help finance his legal bills. check out the avatar thread and join us in showing some solidarity behind this man. I think the fact that he's donated to Ron Paul and has probably visited these forums and possible even been chewed out by someone here gives those of us who've been around a sense of pride and possibly even a coming of age moment.

I know I am watching closely for more people to step up and take action like this man did. I believe so many here are looking to put the ideas of freedom and liberty and those principles we learned from Ron Paul in to action.

The best part about RPF is it's a slice of the broader movement that is full of some of the best people you will ever come to know. It's a large and diffuse support group that does an amazing job of getting to the heart of matters. It is also a broad coalition of people from around the world that I believe support each other through thick and thin.

Hope you find a home here. Welcome, and next time someone tells you that you sat on your ass, just laugh and remind them that it's not as bad as doing a face plant into someone else's :p
