Samo samo! I often wonder how many lists I'm on.

http://www.theburningplatform.com/?p=55753

It looks like I’m in big trouble. I contributed to Ron Paul’s campaigns in 2008 and 2012. I still have Ron Paul stickers and magnets on my three cars. Maybe I should put my lawn signs back up so the NSA drones don’t accidently kick in my neighbor’s door when they come to take me to the FEMA camp.

Is it really shocking that this American Patriot has libertarian leanings? Did they really think he was liberal Democrat or Neo-con Republican? Really?

Libertarians and those who choose to use their brains know that Ron Paul is the only public figure in Washington DC who understands and abides by the U.S. Constitution. The ruling class have no interest in the Constitution. They are corporate fascists who love their power, wealth and control. They will use any means necessary to maintain that control and power. The time to choose sides in this fight is rapidly approaching. Edward Snowden just dumped the tea into the Boston Harbor. Will we show up at our Bunker Hill?

Without any doubt every member of this forum is considered by our government to be a possible terrorist. Being a veteran that was honorably discharged, being a person that like to pay with cash instead of debt, I am certain that I have more than met the criteria that my government uses to consider me a threat. I will wear that as a badge of honor. I have every intention of upholding my oath to the Constitution and that puts me in direct opposition to the politicians and bureaucrats.

I'll bet money that from here forward, nobody that ever donated or supported Ron Paul will get hired by any companies that contract with the government. In his case, he probably didn't learn about Ron until 2007 when he was already thinking about revealing the information (until Obama got elected). I'm reminded of the quote "first they came for..." that ends with "and then they came for me, but no one...." Someone revised it to put Ron Paul supporters there and make it more current. Does anyone have that quote? It would be fitting right about now.

FTA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_they_came...

“First they came…” is a famous statement and provocative poem attributed to pastor Martin Niemöller (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Niem%C3%B6ller) (1892–1984) about the sloth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloth_%28deadly_sin%29) of German intellectuals (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intellectual) following the Nazis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazism)' rise to power and the subsequent purging of their chosen targets, group after group. There is some disagreement over the exact wording of the quotation and when it was created; the content of the quotation may have been presented differently by Niemöller on different occasions.

(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_they_came...#cite_note-famous-1)According to the Martin-Niemöller-Foundation the text is as follows:

First they came for the communists (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist),
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the socialists (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socialist),
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trade_unionist),
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.

(some other variants are given in the article, as well)

Obviously I'm proud this guy is a Ron Paul supporter. Hopefully the 68% of Foxnews' audience that voted him a "hero" will notice that and just maybe spark a little introspection.

Prob not though, the office tv was briefly on foxnews before I could change it and I heard one of the blathering idiots on "the 5" on fox bashing snowden.

The NSA uses its massive computing power to aggregate all of us into "Communities of Interest" (COIs). It takes all our personal data, keystroke history, emails, purchases, travel habits, social media, etc., and puts it all into a neat little virtual profile, which the NSA can (with ever increasing accuracy) predict future patterns of behavior.

You can bet your sweet ass that we are all in the "Potential domestic terrorist" COI as well as they "Post-Collapse target list" COI.

Warlord is used to it... proscribed by 3 different Federal agencies and a lifetime place on the NO FLY list in addition to various asset seizures by US Treasury. Particularly proud that Geitner even did a press release for us. We're still chugging along!

Found the modified quote:

"First they came for the "terrorists",
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a "terrorist".

Then they came for the anarchists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't an anarchist.

Then they came for the Ron Paul supporters,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Ron Paul supporter.

Then they came for any leftover dissidents,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a dissident.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak out for me."

I own all my cars outright, use the GI Bill because I earned it (I was honorably discharged and served over 5 years), I make good grades, I believe in voluntary action, I believe in freedom of choice and thought...

therefore I'm a terrorist...y'know just like the people I was trained to take down, in afghanland...

weird how that works

How would you know if you're on a list?

I freely admit to living with my parents. They probably wouldn't like my dad either though, or one of my two brothers. My mom's honestly a bit naive on politcs and my 11 year old brother still has enough time for them to indoctrinate him, so they might leave those two alone...

Did you donate to Ron Paul during his '08 and/or '12 runs? Then you're on at least one. (Hope these suffice, runningdiz! LOL)

Thus, a terrorist is a person with political, social or ideological goals that are both deeply held and highly critical of the U.S. government. He may use violence; he may not. The “peaceful terrorist” attempts to influence society in ways that others sometimes find intimidating; for example, he may insist on owning a gun. The terrorist is also “clandestine”; that is, he cleaves to privacy and resists surveillance.

The “peaceful terrorist” is a libertarian standing in the good company of others who dissent; for example, those who believe “freedom of speech” has a literal meaning.

Conclusion

The transformation of the word “terrorist” has shifted focus from the raw reality of state violence onto the mere possibility of individual violence, which is defined broadly enough to include dissent. In a stunning lexical victory, the police state has become the victim. Those who peacefully exercise their natural rights have become the terrorists.

No one should be surprised by revelations of the government’s massive surveillance of peaceful individuals. The surveillance should be everyone’s starting assumption.

I subscribed from '93 until they stopped doing dead-tree stuff. I've got all the issues, though, from first to last.

They've got an internet presence since they went all-"digital" (libertyunbound.com) ... but it's just not the same ...

I use my neighbors unprotected wifi for all my liberty stuff, browsing, posting, conspiring. It will be funny as hell when the men in black come, i'll have a great vantage point on the breach team... Hope they don't shoot his dog when they're black bagging him. AHAHHAHA!
