NOVI, Michigan — Distracted driving kills more than 3,000 people each year in the United States, a figure that represents about 10 percent of all traffic fatalities. How many of those people die because they were fiddling with their phones or navigating their navigation systems isn’t clear, but no matter. The feds say they’ve got “the ultimate solution” for curbing the use of mobile devices while we’re mobile.

Nathaniel Beuse, associate administrator for vehicle safety research at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, says government regulation coupled with standards set by automakers and the electronics industry could reduce fatalities. Especially the cell phones cops carry. I see at least 1 cop per week driving his cruiser with his cell phone glued to his ear.

That's why we have GPS tracking on your vehicle, and cameras along the roadways, citizen. You need not worry about reaching out for assistance. An officer will be dispatched to your location within 10-12 hours.

Please remain in your vehicle, and await state funded help. Once an agent arrives on scene, do not forget to keep your hands on the wheel at all times, and answer in brief yes or no fashion. Failure to comply may be grounds for execution on site by attending agent.

We thank you for choosing AmeriKorp.

No aftermarket required, common sense dictates using non-computerized transportation in the first place.

The 80's and 90's cars without GPS, event data recorders and onstar are ok and just engine control computers are ok. It is a good idea to keep an carbeurated points ignition car or truck around in case of an emp event though.
