Good hit from Issa. I'd say it applies to most journalists too. Carney was a former Washington based hack for TIME. Shows you what these guys are really like and there's many more Carney's lurking in the press.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) slammed White House spokesman Jay Carney as a "paid liar" Sunday over the administration's handling of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) scandal.
"Their paid liar, their spokesperson, the picture behind, he's still making up things about what happened and calling this a local rogue," Issa said, referring to Carney.
The California Republican also suggested that orders for Ohio-based IRS employees to target Tea Party groups came "directly" from Washington.
"The indication is they were being directly ordered from Washington," Issa said, citing interviews with IRS workers in Cincinnati.
"This is a problem that was coordinated, in all likelihood, right out of Washington headquarters. We have subpoenaed documents that would support that," Issa said.
The Obama administration is under fire for news that the IRS targeted conservative groups for extra scrutiny as they applied for tax-exempt status.
Issa will also hold a hearing on Thursday examining the agency's spending on conferences, which reportedly totaled $49 million for a three-year period beginning in 2010.
