How to contact potential voters?

Can anyone give me some hints/tips on what to say to a potential voter upon my first telephone contact with them where I am trying to introduce Ron Paul to them?

I'm not sure telephone contact is a good idea. Makes some people mad. Door to door flyers are better IMHO.

you could be authentic and let them know that you "Normally I would never do this but all of our freedoms and personal liberties are at stake... And that there is ONE man who can protect and bring back those liberties!"
