Many of you might have seen Michael Douglas movie "The Game"
I had seen it a long time back and recently saw it again.
In a news segment shown in a scene the news presenter said something like -
"A proposal to encourage small businesses to provide their employees with health insurance is being debated by Washington legislators. The bill which attaches small-business health plans to those of large corporations is receiving initial support from a number of key Republican leaders. However Democratic lawmakers are voicing serious concerns about the bill claiming that it would undermine local ...."
Was this news something related to reality - where R-s wanted some bill (which D-s opposed), but it was different from Obamacare (which the D-s seem to love now) ?
I think some of these issues have been dragging on for a very long time - when i re-watch some old movies, I can now understand some dialogue references and even background news broadcasts seem to mention these issues like healthcare, etc.
