I am always in awe of how comfortable Rand is speaking in front of these crowds. Just me or did Rand seem particularly "presidential" at this one?

I missed his speech and came in somewhere during the Q&A. Rand is downright impressive. Hoping for a tube of the speech itself soon.

If he is talking about NAFTA, CAFTA and all the rest, I will have to disagree with him. NAFTA is what caused the giant sucking sound that Ross Perot warned of and he was absolutely right.

He was asked about his 100% Club for Growth rating and said that one of the good things they talk about which really helps especially poor Americans are the cheap goods offered by Walmart, etc. possible because of trade.

Finally watched the whole speech. OMG. He's soooooo freaking charming. He really has the whole package to woo the general public. Once he goes big time on the national stage during the elections I think he's going to have an inherent advantage with the female Repub vote also.

Modern conservatism is about reforming and improving unnecessary failed institutions. He made that very clear in this speech.
