Interesting piece in Charleston paper:

-
As Sanford's numbers began to improve with Republicans and independents, Sen. Rand Paul stepped out and publicly endorsed him, a turning point for the campaign. With just a week to go, U.S. senators Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham joined Paul in endorsing Sanford. As they came on board, so did the volunteers.

Also the lady from Independent Womens voice PAC who helped him and spent big on the race. She concluded that the "Obamacare repeal" pledge was a big win for Sanford and could be decisive nationwide for Republicans.

Interesting about that Higgins lady who's one of the real conservative philanthropists behind the Independent Women's Voices PAC. I bet she could really help Rand improve his image among females nationally and feature him key support down the line.

Well hopefully between the Sanford endorsement, and the endorsement from the most popular state SC senator for Ron last year will really have some pull down there over the Lindsey Graham republicans in 2016. Rand's really gonna have a great shot and give em hell!

Sanford will be the KEY endorsement in SC. The man is untouchable and fully redeemed.

In fact if Rand wins the presidency Sanford could be in line for a top administration post considering his extensive experience as governor and the fact that he's articulate and principled. He'd be kind of wasted as congressman.

He'd have to hope Rand believes in a God of 2nd chances.

Sanford might end up having the last laugh on the establishment He's still only 54 and potentially could run for president post-Rand after he proves himself and kisses enough butt on the way back up.

Rand really needs help with women, although I think once Christie and Rubio aren't in the race his chances will improve. Christie is 'likable' and Rubio is 'pretty'

women: we're equal now, look at us. if you come to us and appeal to us, in exchange we promise not to steal from you. see, fairness for everybody. you get what you want from us too, less votes to steal your property.

These polls of demographic breakdowns are BS and do not reflect reality. It's not as bad as they would have you believe. Such a thing is illogical.

Warlord's cousin exposes fraudulent polling all the time most recently calling the Sanford race well before polls closed and showing they're stupid:

Least often votes with:
Rep. Justin Amash
Rep. Janice Schakowsky

I think that's just because Amash is near the top of the alphabetical list of republicans and Sanford has voted with republicans on every vote so far.

Yeah, Amash voted present on the Keystone Pipeline Bill by himself and he and Massie along with Broun voted against the Stolen Valor Act. There was another motion where Amash, Massie, and Stockman were the lone dissenters as well. Nothing of real "policy meat" though.

Amash is listed because he votes with the Republican party the least, whereas Sanford so far has voted 100% with the Republican party.
