Huntsman was perceived by some to be more moderate than the likes of Romney, Gingrich, Santorum and so on. He'd probably be seen as less fringe or not as extremely far-right than those who may run.

Obama's ambassador will get as far as Warlord in the GOP primary i.e no where.

Along with his other butt kisser Christie.

Wonder if Huntsman will create another false flag YouTube video, and claim Rand Paul's campaign made it, and also keep calling it an "ad."

Nah. He's a decent guy (minus the Ron Paul attack ads), but he has zero chance in another presidential run.

Haha remember when one of rons staffers made the tweet about finding both of huntsman supporters in a certain county and told huntsman he should go thank them.

Will he running as the Americanselect trophy candidate? I love it when TPTB actually just come right out and propose an elitist instead of waiting to watch just how they will turn the our next elected official into one of their puppets. Saves a lot of time and BS. :D

This.

Huntman is terrible. Probably would have been even worse than Romney.

According to the Politico story, Huntsman's PAC is a Utah based State PAC and will be allowing him to travel and speak within the State in support of Utah politics. Doesn't sound like he's launching a serious effort for POTUS 2016 based upon this effort.

Maybe running for Senate? Hatch is 79. I wouldn't be surprised if Huntsman's planning to replace him.

"Former 2012 presidential candidate Jon Huntsman is forming a new PAC dedicated to helping elect like-minded Republican candidates across the country."

So, Democrats?
