I was being too polite perhaps. Someone had suggested here in an impeachment question discussion that it will not happen beceause Obama is "first black President". While that may have slight weight, I firmly oppose any such consideration based on skin color. Ofcourse if Obama got tried as suspected war criminal or for high crimes, exact same standard must be applied to actions of Bush also. But current actioner in chief's actions should get first attention.

I agree with all of the above, but its not because he's black. They'd never let Walter Williams stick around long. (It just occurred to me that I can't think quickly of a more hardcore libertarian who's black... Oh well, close enough.) Its becasue he's a democrat and so he could literally shoot a child on TV and at least half the "D's" would vote to keep him around... (Vice versa for the GOP, of course.)

Obama is "first black President".

This baffles me. He is at least half white. So it would be equally as accurate to describe him as "yet another middle aged white guy president." To Obama's credit, he rarely represents himself as some messiah for racial equality. Yet, it makes me sad that so many seem to think that the rich yet troubled African-American heritage is somehow represented by this foul and pathetic tool of the banks. Cynthia McKinney, who was also on the 2008 ballot, would have been the real deal.

Essentially. She was the Green Party nominee. So the progressives had their perfect candidate, yet turned out en masse to vote for the pathetic imposter Soetoro. I'm biased, however. I love Cynthia McKinney.

The irony is that war lobbies and like minded media try to paint Obama as "sane" and Mckinney as "crazy". It's a joke.

Back to main topic, is there even shadow of doubt in anyone's mind that Obama did exactly this?

Did he not have speech run through lawyers before putting it on teleprompter or he is spending all his allowed expenses on food tasters, vacations etc for himself and daughters and it was not reviewed by lawyers before he went on TV?

They are going to say in this instance that due process meant going to a Congressional committee and getting authorization. Which raises another question- how many of our reps were on this committee, and how many came out using it as an attack when they knew full well Congress had approved it?
