McConnell is still the minority leader. Paul is not. And besides, does or should it honestly make a difference to the average viewer or anyone here whose name gets mentioned first when they're both going to be mentioned in the same sentence, anyway?

That's exactly my point...

It gives the impression that McConnell is leading Rand. When actually the truth is Rand is leading McConnell on this issue, he practically dragged him in to it.

"Mitch and Chong" just sounds more like "Cheech and Chong" than "Paul and Chong" or "Rand and Chong".. it was just a comedic decision.
