Its amazed me how powerful we can be when it comes to lobbying to get our man RP on TV and radio shows, so lets discuss which shows would be best considering RP's limited amount of time.

My recommendations:

Glen Beck (I think Beck will be fair to RP, I think he is just brainwashed, not a bad guy really)

Washington Journal on CSPAN (Very smart audience and receptive to his message, and my favorite interview ever was with that HOT host who really seemed to like him, and its great hearing RP talking with the CSPAN audience who all seem to either love him or at least respect him if they are dems)

Coast to Coast A.M. (Either Ian Punnet or George Noorey would be great for the host, this is a gold mine imho. There are MILLIONS of listeners that tune in every night and both GN and IP like RP. Also it would be a bonus because Ron Paul would get a full hour, maybe even more! Also this is a great audience, all of them are very open minded and aware of what is really going on in this country, even if they are nuts.)

Colbert or Stewart (Earlier interviews were great IMHO, both Stewart and Colbert were good interviewers and treated him well also will expose RP to more liberals.)

The View (Our biggest problem is women, I remember an earlier poll where 12% of guys were voting for RP but only 2% of women!!! We need to get on one of their shows and the view would be a good choice. If only Elizabeth Hasselback wasn't such a moron, but he would go over well with the lib hosts who are against the war.

COlbert and Stewart = WRITERS STRIKE

an apearance on Ellen, on the rock or any show on EWTN, MTV/Myspace thing, another appearance on o'reilly, the price is right, those are the onlyones I can think that are worth it

Oprah would be, but I doubt that'll happen before he polls higher if at all

I'd like to see him on Larry King Live

I'm also hoping he goes on Beck's show soon, I think this is very important.

Oprah, Ellen and maybe Tyra - all for the women's vote.

(Don't knock Tyra. The show is less reputable but she is a huge celebrity that could open doors to other Hollywood endorsements)

Meet the Press- I've seen Dodd, Biden, and even Colbert on there. Paul should get at least a half hour to explain his views to a large audience.

Larry King would be an excellent one.

That would definitely be the best choice in my opinion. He has the largest audience every night on CNN. People really like to listen to this man speak, hes a wonderful interviewer.

RP would get a great chance to explain his views during a serious long interview on this show.

Yep, it will also help us with the 70+ age and older demographic.

This should definetly get stickied. I mean this may be one of the most contributing factors in exposing Ron Paul's name to the public. Think about it. It's really easy for us to get him on shows. Sure it takes time, but all it requires of us is to stay dedicated in emailing these T.V. shows to get him on air. We've done it with The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. I think we should do these shows in order:

Larry King Live
Meet The Press (He should've been on there ages ago)
The View
Glenn Beck
Bill O'Reilly (Showdown #2)
Oprah
Ellen
Tyra Banks Show
Bill Maher's Show

I think if we get him on all of those shows before the end of the year, he will become just as recognizable as "America's Mayor" and Hitlery. This could indeed be the key to our success.

Conon O'Brien? If so, I thought his show is down for now along with all other late night talk shows because of the writers' strike.

Conan said that Ron should drop out. Have a little bit of heat with him for saying it, but it would still be a good forum if we can get Ron to go on.

Ellen Degeneres is a big risk. I'm not nearly as smart as the good doctor, but if I had to spend 5 minutes talking to her, I'd blow my brains out. :D

i don't think so. i think she's really nice and wouldn't say anything rude, just give him time to talk and appeal to her audience. I think she'd be really responsive to his views. ron paul can stand listening to our congress, ron paul can take anything.

If this writers strike gets resolved anytime soon I would love to see him on Saturday Night Live. I think it would do wonders if some people got to see a lighter side of Ron Paul and plus it always seems to get media attention for some reason.

Don't forget PBS
Charlie Rose - A lot of people tune in to him
Tavis Smiley - Think discussion about how giuliani, mccain, thompson, & romney didn't show up to his debate

I know some of you are freaking out. Please consider. Savage has not endorsed any candidate. He has audience of a million proactive listeners. He has said all year that we should leave Iraq! He's views are close to Dr. Paul's and he would be polite.

My grandpa has said like 5 times that "He needs to get on Meet the Press". Russert is respected and really gives people lots of time. I think he would look great. What's the viewership of that one?

I know Beck just moved to #1 in his slot. We need that so bad.
