From Facebook Page – Police State USA: Land of the Checkpoints comes this chilling video of cops berating a harmless individual. The info states the video is out of Durham. This video comes from Durham in CA. Here is a link to the recent findings by the PD according to News.Ca.MSN.

These types of interactions with police have occurred millions of times. Thanks to the the surveillance camera in this case, and many times the risks assumed by folks like you and me holding a cellphone, we are starting to expose what we’ve been allowing these people to get away with for so long.

Please, always film police.

I wonder if the location is correct, as the watermark TheStar.com is a Toronto Star Newspapers Ltd. property.

The CA means Canada, not California.

It seems that the power of police corrupts everywhere... who would have guessed?

I think this is what that latin phrase on the side of the police car actually means.

"Chirp"? Does he mean his police scanner or the radar?

Common Police phrase. Anyone who says anything they don't like is "chirping" at them.

So hypothetically if this guy shoots this cop and uses this video would he get off?

I just saw this. Hero cop! Chirp, chirp.

1, illegal search.

2, threaten to cause bodily harm

3, threaten to plant drugs

4, harassment

But at least there was a good cop right beside him to, you know, stop the bad cop.

Reminds me of my graduation... one of the speakers referred to a possible career choice of "Becomming a police officer... keeping our streets safe."

Yeah, because that's totally all they do. Obviously:rolleyes:

Public schools are so full of it. I say we pass a law that requires they all be burned down (With everyone evacuated, of course).

And a total overhaul of "Public servants."

This is why all "law enforcement" officers need to be elected or at least the one who did hire them be held accountable.

You're right without the 3rd-finger-penetrating cavity search exemption there really is no grounds here.

I'm not doing that unless he's totally restrained, blindfolded, and gagged. He's scary.

Would be nice. :) Straightjacket, gag, and leg shackles are still in order just in case, though.

The psychopath in this case, a constable James (Jamie) Ebdon, was docked a whole days pay.

“Officer was disrespectful and rude to a member of the public,” adds the report, obtained by the Star. LOL, no. The officer threatened to maim, kill and frame a person because he didn't get his boots licked. I can think of a few penalties more appropriate than fining him a few dollars.
