Thanks RPFIG. This was huge.

This moment sealed the deal for me. My own knee-jerk moment that I worked through in a matter of minutes with the help of the good folks here. Thank you!

The tag teaming from the "moderator" and truth's/liberty's opposition is so obvious it's painful to watch but it should be watched over and over.

Thanks Ron. And thanks establishment for that moment of being so flippin' obvious.

Get what, exactly? That a moderator was forced just yesterday (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?414389-Fight-about-Rand-s-drone-comments-here-gt-Split-off-from-Ron-Paul-2016-thread) to split a thread in Ron Paul Grassroots into Hot Topics, because of bickering over Rand Paul?

Or that some must always take their petty little potshots at Rand Paul, no matter the thread's subject?

The problem with what Ron said is he kept saying "we" instead of "the government", which is why Guiliani (who was there on 9/11) pounced on it and ignored all of his other points. That's why I didn't care for Ron until 2011, when I researched his other positions and actually listened to him.

Yeah, he was clearer on that point on other occassions, but he was fighting back on his feet under attack, and I think he was brilliant.

Rhetorical isn't computing at the moment. I think I said it because I listened to so many just talking and it seems to allude people. It always seems to allude people. ? Pretty dang scary when you think about it.

Man. Even with two dictionary definitions I'm still not getting it.

rhe·tor·i·cal (r-tôr-kl, -tr-)
adj.
1. Of or relating to rhetoric.
2. Characterized by overelaborate or bombastic rhetoric.
3. Used for persuasive effect: a speech punctuated by rhetorical pauses. (http://www.tfd.com/rhetorical)

meaning were you really asking 'I don't get why people don't put two and two together' not No one has a problem with this? Since many of us have a problem with it. In other words, a question that makes a statement, not really looking for an answer.

Same with my dad. They took that clip and the masses heard "it's our fault."

While those of us already awake/semi-awake LOVED it, the masses ate up Guiliani's response. Murica!

In fact, I heard on Hannity yesterday talking about "they hate us for our freedoms." I think the grassroots needs to do a parody video on them STILL using that talking point.

The Muslims are the boogeyman they still use to keep the masses begging for safety. Now it's coming up in their discussions about the kidnapped girls.

I still can't help but tear up... there he was standing against the Mayor of 9-11, who was demanding he withdraw his comment, and while Ron had no idea what was out there waiting for him he still stuck to his guns. It's just amazing...35 years... just keep fighting folks, no matter what happens...

Wow, I'm reliving a lot of these old debates on youtube.

It's pretty easy to go through the clips where people paired it down to only Ron Pauls answers because they didn't let him speak. Man, it makes my heart cry for my children that the American people didn't listen to him when they had the chance :(
