this is the same targeting as that MAIC report targeting Ron Paul supporters, Constitutionalists, pro lifers, remember? Didn't that trace back to some SPLC drivel? That was institutionalized as policy or something?

I think it is interesting to see how badly this idea backfired as it has really served to wake people up about their government. I've read countless articles about all kinds of different people being audited and watched and wondering why. The kind of people that would have laughed at the concept of the government picking on them for their opinions or support of various things coming to realize that it was no coincidence. The question is not whether you believe in "conspiracy theories", but rather whether you trust you government to be truthful. How is it that people can nearly universally believe that politicians lie to them daily, but deny the possibility that those same damn politicians could lie to them in an organized manner?
