Wonder what would have happened if she had whipped out a pistol and shot the attacking dog dead?

Oh, yeah...

Well, poo poo on you lady, for not "paying attention" when a heavily armed, politically protected, gang member and his attack dog were in your vicinity.

ATLANTA -- A Rome woman is still recovering after being bitten in the side by a TSA bomb-sniffing dog.

The incident happened on May 2nd in the south terminal baggage claim carousel at Hartsfield-Jackson airport.

Sue Dubitsky told 11Alive News she was standing in the baggage claim area and noticed the K-9 officer and handler standing beside her. She said she was barely paying them any attention when the dog suddenly lunged and bit her in the lower stomach.

According to an Atlanta Police report, Dubitsky was checked out by EMS on the scene however according to EMS first responders "the skin was broken, there was no bleeding and it just looked like a scratch."

But Dubitsky said the injuries were more serious; she said the bite left three cuts, bleeding and a bruise as big as her hand. She sent pictures of her injury to 11Alive.

"I don't remember feeling the cut," Dubitsky said. "I didn't really realize that he had pierced the skin."

Dubitsky said she wanted to speak out to keep this from happening to someone else.

"Can you imagine that [dog's mouth] around a child's neck?" she said. "And that, the height of my waistline, could easily be a child."

TSA provides and trains bomb-sniffing dogs for airport security. The dogs are handled by local law enforcement. In this case, the handler was an Atlanta Police officer.

Atlanta Police and the TSA are investigating the incident.

Doesn't even need this amount of evidence for the King's men to shoot to kill.

I wonder if TSA uses the same kind of training for their dogs that law enforcement does. K9 police have been seen on tape raising their K9s up off the ground, hanging it by it's leash, then kicking it -- and that's considered a "legitimate training technique." And sometimes they die from that, but oh well, it's just a dog.

A K-9 officer doesn't know if he will make it home to the pack at the end of each day. A mundane cannot begin to fathom the amount of stress they have to live under not knowing if the next call might be their last.

The same techniques used by those that train dogs to fight. :(

Instead he got a quarter million in back pay and reinstatement to a cushy job at the Highway Patrol's Accident Reconstruction Unit. Just another day at "Just-Us" inc.

I'd love one of those dogs to jump me...I fight back!

The quickest way to ruin an attack dog is to kick it's ass, if they attack from that point forward they'll be a back-biter...

actually,,
If you grab it by the throat and twist 90 degrees,, it will never attack anything ever again.

I like dogs,, and I wrestle and play with a Rott. But if one is turned into a vicious killing animal,, I have no qualms about putting it down.

Sorry about that. I looked up another story and it said this:

He now works for the Apex Police Department, where he was hired four months after the patrol fired him.

So does this mean he is being awarded back pay, even though he got another job 4 months later?

Yup,, That's what it means. it also means that he has still been employed as LE the whole time,, as is often the case when one is (rarely) fired.
They just go to work in another town.

Perhaps if they knew for certain that their next call will be their last, things would be different.

Perhaps. Not counting on it. Plenty in this world willing to risk life and limb to commit government sanctioned murder.
