Only 5 representatives opposed it last time: Amash, Paul, Flake, Huelskamp, Broun.

Here's this year's bill: http://docs.house.gov/billsthisweek/20130513/BILLS-113hr384-SUS.pdf
I think this bill should be opposed. What do you think?

We need a comprehensive idea about how to fix healthcare. Not "let the market fix it". That's a cop out. We need to outline and correlate which laws are costing us and which firms are milking the system. Then show clearly the path to making healthcare affordable.

If I'm reading this right the bill would simply establish a liaison between HUD and the VA in order to facilitate programs being made eligible for veterans. Along with a couple required reports regarding veterans and their housing status being published every year. There is nothing inherently wrong with the bill.
I have problems with HUD programs and problems with the VA but not in them communicating. My biggest problem with the VA is the fact that they do no communicate at all with other government agencies, hell they barely communicate with themselves.
*edit*
It seems you have posted two completely different bills here. Hell ones an admendment.

I see this as unnecessary, only because there are a ton of sources available to veterans already. Getting a VA loan is easy for qualified veterans... it's really not difficult at all. Almost every reputable lender is familiar with the process already. I'm really not sure what good this bill would do, and it will obviously cost money.

The word correlate does not make sense in that context.
Read my write-up on my opposition here: http://llphsecondrevolution.wordpress.com/2013/05/12/llph-looking-ahead-week-of-5-13-13-growing-government-again/

"Homes for Heroes"? If anybody actually believes our government considers them "heroes", well, they need only visit their local VA hospital to know the real score.
bump. Vote is tomorrow. Facebook, Tweet, E-mail, Phone, CONTACT your legislator for tomorrow's vote! Urge a "no" vote!
