I missed one, which is the most often missed question.

The Pew Research Center and the Smithsonian are offering a short 13 question online quiz aimed at finding out what you know about textbook science and science in the news. They compare your results with 1,006 randomly sampled adults asked the same questions in a national poll. Only 7 percent of the adults tested scored 100 percent. For what it's worth, I am among the 7 percent. So why not take the Science and Technology Knowledge Quiz to see how much you know about some pretty basic scientific facts.

"You answered 13 of 13 questions correctly."

"You scored 100%, and better than 93% of the public and the same as 7%."

I scored a 100%. Which question did you miss? They all seemed pretty easy.

#7! Even though it's the one most missed, it's cold comfort. At least now I know!

Had to go back through them. Yeah I can see that one as being tricky.

I got all of them right, but I'm curious to see just how bad that 93% did or if most of them just got one wrong.

An older one. Got all these right!

There are demographic and question by question breakdowns on the results page.

I think it's funny how little actual science training I've had, yet scored a 100%.
I got the nitrogen question from self-study on welding. It's actually a very important component of our atmosphere, because it's inert. Anything that has ever burned on Earth has burned at a controlled rate largely because nitrogen slows it down.

Got 'em all. Weird that only 7% did.

"You scored better than 75% of the public, below 15% and the same as 10%."

woohoo 100%! Pretty stupid test though. Anyone who paid attention in a high school science class should know most of the answers.

12/13, "You scored better than 85% of the public, below 7% and the same as 8%.".

I missed the atmosphere question. All the others I was sure or near-sure of except for the red blood cells question but I got it right.

13/13...

This was going around FB a couple days ago along with another one on religion. I only got 11 out of 15 on the religion one...
