But don't worry, Santorum was included! Nobody is hotter than Santorum in the Republican party right now.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who is playing a leading but risky role in shaping a comprehensive immigration reform overhaul, has 18 percent of the Republican primary vote, according to a Fairleigh Dickinson University poll out Tuesday. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, whose occasional praise of the Obama administration has alienated the right, is in second with 16 percent. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who Republicans worry will be dragged down by his famous name, is in third with 14 percent.

Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum gets a mere 9 percent. Twenty-one percent of Republicans would pick another candidate and another 21 percent are undecided.

Why the heck wouldn't they include rand in this poll? It's the equivalent of not including romney in 2012....

Ew, looks like the Dems are all in for Hillary. The incomprehensible desire for the first <insert victimized demographic here> president among the American public despite the fact that, politically, she does not differ at all from anyone who's held office in the last 20+ years, will be extremely tough to beat back.

The problem isn't so much the current crop of people who vote, so much as it will be the dragging out of people who usually don't vote but will so they can say they made history. Views are irrelevant to presidential elections, who's winners are picked with less relevant criteria than American Idol.

The establishment is very afraid of Rand. Imagine how ugly this is going to become by late 2015..

'undecided' and 'other' easily wins a caucus or primary if one of the listed contenders tosses in the towel

It's a display of what the GOP faces. Most of the 21% for Rand won't vote for any of the others in the general election while most of the supporters of the others would vote for Rand in a general election. The GOP either goes with Rand and has a chance at winning or they lose.

If Rand gets the nomination I could envision a Kyl/Lieberman ticket running under the Americans Elect banner or something...

FYI; Bush had 16%, Christie had 14%.

Too bad "Other" never seems to be an option in the general election...

This worked with Ron to an extent, but Rand is too central and too well known - if they continue this line of attack they will be so obviously exposed in their attempt to control the narrative that it will blow up in their faces. This will be so blatant even complacent sheeple will have to take notice.
