There's 535 people in Congress alone, yet McCain's ass gets on EVERY F'IN WEEK! Im so sick of seeing him. Is this because Congress doesn't want to go on record and McCain doesn't care anymore or is there a concerted effort to get him on every sunday for a 1/4 of a show? Even people that voted for him in 2008 don't really like him anymore.

The only place more dangerous to be than between Chuck Schumer and a camera is between John McCain and a camera.

Yeah I know his gig. I just don't get how he gets on some sunday show every week now and is always that war hawk. If anyone is motivated, Id like to see a study on who turns up the most on sunday shows. I bet McCain is #1 or damn close. He may be an indicator of escalation to war.

If and when the liberal media wants to paint the conservative/libertarian senators as "extreme" (which is all the time), they bring on McCain as the "reasonable" voice of the GOP. Then automatically everyone to the right of McCain becomes "extreme" and "unreasonable". McCain is their puppet for hire.

It's programming, and it's triangulation. The networks push the elite's agenda, which is to push more war, spending, taxes and surveillance on us, so you get a hundred interviews with McCain (and circa 20 years ago, it was Dole), vs one or none for either Ron or Rand Paul. They didn't even put Rand on the week he made news (with his filibuster).

With extreme McCain put on the shows barking for war, he draws a partisan response from the left, and these two poles allow "the leader" Clinton/Bush/Obama to step in and look Presidential in offering a "moderate" path (some more war, spending, etc), which was the elite's plan to push all along.

McCain and Bill Kristol were regulars even back in the 90s. Exact same talking points every week.

If it's Sunday...it's John McCain. This is getting comical. "This Week" it's last week. Again.
