Of course the media wants a perpetual state of war. The people want a perpetual state of war, and so do the politicians.

Now are we fighting Eurasia or Eastasia today?

She's slowly coming around. I think she's been listening to Ron Paul or something.

She is spot-on when it comes to the Wall Street Journal. Bret Stephens won a Pulitizer for trying to knee-cap Chuck Hagel. Whenever the editors write an unsigned editorial, they're blasting people we like. Dorothy Rabinowitz bashed Ron Paul several times on the op-ed page. I imagine if I bring it up on my iPad this morning, there'll be a "Case for Syrian Intervention" in the op-ed section.
