He keeps saying that. Does he think if he says it enough times, it will come true?

Why the American public isn’t mad as hell about the failure of the gun bill (in numbers)

The thing is that while most people don't favor strict gun controls, only a small percent of voters will actually base their vote on that one issue. Economics is the biggest single issue. An election will likely not be won or lost based on the gun control issue.

It's either that or you and I live in a bubble. I don't know anybody that I regularly talk to who supports gun control, background checks, or any of it. The media keeps trying to say they do. I know democrats who are pissed off at Obama for going after guns when he acted like he wouldn't (in their opinion).

You might want to review the fall of Tom Foley. Gun owners can, have, and will in the future, unseat legislators who screw with them.

Yes indeed, After the only Speaker of the House to be ousted in 130 years of Congress, the slug manage to weasel himself into an Ambassador position for another 4 years. They're addicted to power and privilege and of course, serving their ruling elite for the spoils. Foley was also North American Chairman of the Trilateral Commission (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trilateral_Commission).

Joe Scarborough is just another corporate propaganda mouthpiece, media's typical professional political liar, compensated by the millions/yr to manipulate and divide the masses into cultural Marxism.
