"What's so amazing here is that $10 million is actually a realistic goal. If you had suggested such a thing were possible only a year ago, you'd be fitted for a straightjacket and tinfoil hat. But now, in light of the Guy Fawkes success and the pitch-perfect use of the Boston Tea Party, I would put money on the Paulites not just reaching, but actually exceeding, that goal."

We have so much ridiing on the 16th. It will not break the campaign if it is not spectaculer, but if we pull it off can you imagine all the benefits. And anyone using this board to try to organize another mass donation day in the month of December before the 16th should be skinned!

1,000,000 people x $100 = $100 million for Dr.Paul

Darnit. How did we let something an Obama supporter posted go viral?!?!

Ron Paul Supporters Plan $10M Tea Party

Love or hate him (I personally respect him, but strongly disagree with his views on most issues), Ron Paul has inspired the most remarkable bottoms-up netroots campaign this cycle (Obama is the best on the Democratic side, mostly because of his popularity among net-savvy younger voters).

I think that rather than posting links to these articles we really need to start telling people 'go to Digg and vote on the RP article'. Digg almost certainly has filters that look for this sort of massive incoming traffic and bury it.

This is very misleading. People will be confused and think that will be raising 10M in one day.

Realistically, I do not see that happening even as much as I would like it to, we have to be careful over projecting, a simple 5-6-7 million dollar day would be equally great.

Greatness with modesty.

11-26-2007, 05:11 AM
Yeah, I can almost hear the headlines now: "Ron Paul fail to reach fundraising goal of 10mill"

I don't think the numbers project 10M at the moment, seeing as the correlation between donors and donations are most likely a slower climb the more you get.
