Fuck you Joe Scarborough. I saw a clip of this, he basically said he didn't deserve to be on the list today, same with Coburn.

And Scarborough supposedly voted for Ron in the primary? He's a really strange guy.

He only voted for him out of protest.

Joe is one of the dumbest Republicans around. Only beaten by Scott Brown.

So Joe can totally comprehend JayZ  being one of the top influential people in the world but is dumbfounded by Rand? What a putz.

He's not dumb. He is a traitor.

I wish Joe would run for his old congressional seat or another race somewhere, he'd probably struggle to crack 35% in a primary.

He suffers from the same schizophrenia that Glenn Beck does.

I think that's true, but he's a Congressional legend in his own mind.

I usually watch his clips in the afternoon online for humor. Watching the MSNBC types freak out over gun control the last month or so has been top entertainment. Scarborough preaches as if he were speaker of the house or president at one point. The guy was a 3 term backbencher. All he does is pontificate about how great the Republican party would be if it listened to him constantly. "We should ban assault weapons...no reason anyone needs them!" -15 years ago he voted to repeal the original AWB...

Joe gets daily praise from all his liberal friends for being such a "courageous conservative." He's so balled up in that bubble of the NY/DC metropolitan/liberal elite world that he thinks the rest of us who just try to get along day to day but bristle at encroachments on our rights, are totally retrograde.

I used to really really like Scarborough, as he always gave Ron Paul a fair shake. In fact I used to watch his show. But he's totally insufferable now. I hope his son keeps ploughing his own field and doesn't follow Dad's ideological transition to half-baked liberal.

They wanted gun control to pass. Mika was tweeting all the Senators for it even, and Joe, the 'conservative' was all for it too.

Not watching, but Morning Joe is not exactly persuasive to me as a source.

I disagree about him giving Ron a fair shake - he tried to coopt Ron's support on less edgy issues, such as when he had already been proven 100% right on something. But it was always all about Joe, Joe's book where he quoted Ron, Joe one way or another. He was very snide about Ron sometimes.

Sounds like Rand influenced him to talk about him on his show.

Trolololololol.

Scarborough is mad because he knows he'd be on the list of 100 least influential people.

Anyone notice how the guy flipped through and named nearly all the covers but stopped before Rand Paul? I think he knew Scarborough was gonna be upset about it. I think he seemed a little like "I knew he was gonna ask that" after Joe mentioned Rand.
