Hi everyone, I'm an 18 year old college student from NY who goes to college in Philly. I saw Ron Paul in the earlier debates and loved his message, but coming from a staunchly Democrat family, I registered as a Democrat. However I've become a hardcore RP supporter, and I've donated 225 hard earned dollars to his campaign, and went to the Philly Rally. But I think I've missed the party switch deadline in NY. Is there any way I can still vote for RP? I know he needs every vote he can get, can I switch my voter registration to PA? Thanks for the help!

Join a MeetUp. Maybe sign up for one in NY and one in PA.

Go to http://ronpaul.meetup.com and find the groups closest to you.

IIRC, the NY deadline was 10/12.

You can PM this guy

He's pretty knowledgeable about what is going on in NY,

and this guy for advice in Philly

hope that helps

Generally you can register at the place you attend in school. It makes it easier that you have not registered in NY since obviously you were not old enough.

I am in the same situation (minus the yankee and Democrat Stuff :) ) I registered where I am attending University.

I don't know about voting. But here is how you can help:
- Never stop talking about Ron Paul to your friends, family, and coworkers.
- Donate as much money as you can on December 16th, and try to get others to donate on December 16th as well.

Buy a bunch of slim jims (http://www.ronpaul2008store.com/servlet/Categories?category=Slim+Jims)from the ron paul website and get yourself a Ron Paul DVD like from here (http://www.ronpauldvd.com/downloads.rp08) and canvass the city with your brain, slim jims, and your laptop with the DVD of videos. And when you convert people, instruct them to sign up as a supporter on RonPaul2008.com (https://www.ronpaul2008.com/join/) so they will get emails for the campaign and receive instructions on becoming a delegate etc.

Getting involved with the Iowa letter writing effort is the best way a voter who cannot do anything in the primary can help Ron Paul.

Caucuses are custom made for grass roots organization to show its strength. The more letters we write, the higher chance that Ron Paul has an unexpectedly high showing in Iowa in the caucus. If we can just get into third place in Iowa, we're going to be amazed at what the month of January holds for us.

A disenfranchised Ron Paul supporter can really help the campaign in profound ways by getting involved in this effort... Otherwise, you might not get a chance to vote for him at all. This is the best way to ensure that doesn't happen:

You haven't missed the NY deadline. They were wrong about it being the 12th. You have till 30 days before the primary; therefore if you go do it now, you're good.

Avery sent out a message saying the Oct 12th date is wrong. Double check me on this, though.

I believe most states allow you to vote in that state if you go to school there, but this may be a state thing.

If you're from within Democrat ranks, perhaps you can refer everybody that hasn't waken up yet to http://www.obamala.com Get them to read that message, and then go to the link and LISTEN CLOSELY to Dr Paul for the 60 minutes of that interview. I believe that interview is compelling, and don't see how anyone can sit through it and not become a convert.

(You (or whomever you refer it to) can google(obamala) or check archive.org to verify that the guy/message is real.)

1. Join the NYC and Philly meetup groups.
2. Tell everyone you personally know
3. Get your parents to donate money. Tell thim about this cause you believe in.
4. Register to vote in Pennsylvania, and get your college friends absentee ballots to vote for Ron Paul.

And as other posters have pointed out, you can register to vote in pennsylvanie. Deadling for registering is around march 12 or so.

Change your email signature and your voicemail message to promote ronpaul2008.com and/or RonPaulIsHope.com, which automatically forwards to the campaign site after the video is over.
