Rand is starting his campaign earlier than Romney did. Romney was hiding in the shadows up until 2011 so Rand has a huge head start.

Rand could start 2015 with a large margin if he keeps all this up. Then rule 16 wouldn't even matter, and his team can move to go back to 2008 rules at the 2016 RNC.
