Marco Rubio is preparing to go all in to support sweeping immigration legislation, offering himself up as the public face of a bill that will split the Republican Party — but that his allies hope will propel him to the front of the GOP presidential sweepstakes.

After offering lukewarm support until now, Rubio is preparing to fully embrace a measure that is the most significant of his political career so far. The gambit could pay off in spades by crowning a leading presidential contender in 2016, or it could permanently damage the Republican’s brand with conservatives.

Rubio will essentially become its most prominent salesman, effectively putting his political capital — and presidential ambitions — on the line in the process. With momentum behind the push, Rubio clearly has calculated it makes more sense for him to fully embrace the effort, rather than run away from it and potentially kill the measure just as it is introduced.

He's going to set himself up for a big fall.

Anything AFL-CIO and the Chamber of Commerce write is not going to look good.

They're going to do a "deal" to limit the number of guest visa's and border security is going to be weak and on the say so of the Administration or some commission.

So how exactly will that solve the problem ?? Result would be people still coming to America illegally via the porous border because the caps for the visa's will be hit.

Also, the Democrats will want to make welfare available to immigrants. You can bet on that.

Regardless of how well they wish to pump rubio up for the presidency he does NOT Qualify for it. Not for that or vice president. Simply becase he was born here, merely makes him an anchor baby, who in all reality does not make for a "natural Born" citizen.

Both parents must be citizens at time of his birth, in order for him to be an "Natural Born" citizen.

All this talk about him being so is just that, and i would advise anyone to stop considering him to be what he is not. He is NOT "Natural Born".

Marco Rubio
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (short version)

Marco Antonio Rubio (born May 28, 1971) Rubio was born in Miami, Florida,[5] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_Rubio#cite_note-5) the second son and third child of Mario Rubio and Oria Garcia. His parents were Cubans who had immigrated to the United States in 1956 and were naturalized (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naturalized) as U.S. citizens in 1975.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_Rubio

Regardless of popular belief , Marco Rubio IS NOT a "natural Born" citizen.

Even if he was born here, both parents were not citizens at the time of his birth. They didn't become citizens until 1975 four years after his birth.

If they were then it wouldn't matter where he was born. Then he would be a "natural Born" citizen.
Since he is not a natural born citizen, but is considered wrongly by many to be, for simply being born here. Does not escape the fact that he is NOT natural born, and he does not Qualify for the position of president or vice president of the United States of America.
PERIOD.

So politico or who ever, working in the background to egg him on, is lying not only to the American public, but to themselves as well.

And anyone in the republican party, should have a problem with him running at all. For even if he could produce a birth certificate that says citizen he is NOT "Natural Born" Both parents must be citizens at the time of his birth, they were not.

And i fear, this would have far reaching backlashes for OUR Republic if WE were to allow him to run.

Dude, he's running. We'll deal with him in Iowa.

Unless Rand can amend Rubio's bill it is not going to get much support in the House and will cause untold angst among conservatives.

There is no way they will accept an AFL-CIO/Chamber of Commerce written bill which is going to have numerous problems and flaws.

so we are going to allow him to run, simply to bring the latino voters out for the party...knowing he's not even suppose to be there..

so when did i sign away my rights to a fair election? or for that matter my honor?

We can't stop Rubio from running.

We can however enjoy his inevitable fall from grace.

He is so politically naive getting involved with the likes of Chucky Schumer. They will hang him out to dry. Just watch.

Rubio will probably have to end up voting against his own bill as he's worried about the GOP primaries.

What are they possibly going to tell us? He's hispanic, needs a bottle of water close by and has to be told what to do by others?

He's setting himself up for a massive fall. This is hilarious. I'm going to enjoy the circus.

They're trying to ram a flawed AFL-CIO/Chamber of Commerce bill through that will outrage many conservatives and Rubio wants to be the public face of it ??

Good luck with that! haha!
