I guess he can't come out in favor of drug legalization when he has to appeal to social conservatives, but I wish he would at least make it clear that it should be a state issue. It seems like he's going to miss an opportunity to appeal to independents, Democrats, and younger people in a general election if he has to support the war on drugs in order to win the GOP primary.

Saying Colorado and Washington should be free to legalize weed wouldn't make much sense for this interview, unless he was specifically asked about the situation.

Christian television host Pat Robertson has come out in favor of legalizing marijuana, putting him at odds with many other conservative Christians.
