I called my Senators and told them to vote "no." However, I don't really think this is the "closure" vote. That comes later. This is the vote to proceed to the legislation.

Now the fun begins and we see what "debate" these stupid GOP senators insist they want : Demagoguery all weekend, relatives of dead kids paraded on the Sunday propaganda shows and Bloomberg demanding weapons bans and ammo restrictions with amendments to follow.

PARTICULARLY if you are in Toomey's district. Let him be aware of what this will cost him prior to the vote to "END" debate.

Toomey, Flake, Coburn. Those 3 need to be contacted ASAP. I doubt they'll change their minds though.

I had the petition emails that beg for money in mind when I posted that. I was thinking wtf, you guys are always asking for money but why do I not see any action or organized protests.

They had a National ID opposition petition a few ago that got me really fired up to take some action but could not find anything on their website about it. Website is shit, no protests, no action, no forum, slow, but they want money.

Maybe I missed something and am just not looking close enough. I like Ron and his ideology but he seems to be really poor manager - talent recruiter.
