If that's his 'news', color me unsurprised. I'm a bit perplexed that they've waited this long to try and disarm the serfs...

The man from Austin city council says "but don't worry we're coming for that sign soon" (the sign says stop the gun ban) or something like that. Alex is suggesting he means he's coming for the guns but i'm not sure?

itshappening
04-09-2013, 08:32 PM
He says:

"There is no gun ban currently but because of the work we're doing here today we'll make your sign legitimate shortly... so you hang on to that " (sign says 'Stop gun ban')

And they cheer..

A city council member from Austin, TX who is 'running to be the next mayor' kicks off his speech by talking to a guy holding a sign that says "STOP THE GUN BAN". The city council member says we're not trying to ban guns yet, but in the future that sign will be legitimate, just wait. Thunderous applause ensues.

Alex then does some dialogue, shows a clip of Eric Holder saying he wants to brainwash the people every day about gun control, then shoes a clip about Diane Feinstein saying that if she had 51 votes to do an outright gun ban to take all the guns, she would do it.

In conclusion Alex says their plan is clearly to register the guns, and then take them once that is accomplished.

Thank you!

So people cheered the gun grabber...in Texas? WTF?

The other parts just reinforce the evil of Diane and Place Holder.

So what's the consensus? 1-3, 3-5 or 5-10 years before confiscation?

Of course they did, that's how freedom always dies, to thunderous applause.

Texas will be fully Californicated in another ten years or so.

It'll go back to the solid democrat state it always was.

Oh, and confiscations...hmmm, within one state?

1-3 years.

About the window for the first US drone strikes.

You know, when we invaded Iraq the Iraqi soldiers there stripped themselves of their uniforms and put on civilian clothes. Blended in with the public. Hid in the brush and mountains. They still had their weapons and ammunition. Regardless of opinion if you look at it through their lens they were defending their country from foreign invaders. As would Americans should the tables ever be turned the other way around. Is a natural phenomenon. Going by the amount of casualties, they seem to have had plenty of weapons and ammo. Was the biggest problem our troops had and we lost a lot of good men and women who really had no idea what they were there for besides the highlight reel the media was pushing. These Iraqi soldiers were most likely equally disinformed or ignorant to the facts but subsequently reinvented to conform to the terrorist model by the media. Even though in their mind they were defending their country from foreign invaders they were reinvented and given the terrorist title. And it completely changed the narrative. The people loved them for it.They had no idea how they got bamboozled by the media. Even wrote catchy country songs to drink beer with while they watched the war televised. Oh, yes. Was a hoot.

So...switch places with them. Theoretically, of course. Then think about it. Really think about it. Think of a few notions of why all of a sudden...and it is sudden...that the suits want your weapons and ammo out of the way. Think about how many times during the course of the day you read about the term domestic terrorist all of a sudden. And in terms of those who claim to be patriotic and anti-government. Really think about that. It's the same narrative.

It could be said and perhaps has been said that this is why they are buying up all of the ammo and hardware but that's beside the point. It could also be hypothesized that it's to make sure we don't have it if ever there was a time we needed it. And folks would do well to do some research on the amount of foreign troops on our soil as well as military contractors who are loyal to no flag.

Of course, maybe I'm just talking out of my ass again. Who knows...

Anyhoo. This was a good chit chat on Coast to Coast AM last night...

Robert Young Pelton discussed global war trends, his experiences working with private military contractors, as well as geopolitical hot spots. Regarding North Korea, he characterized the country as one of the last holdovers of the Cold War-- still reacting from the Korean War in the 1950s. "The leadership of the country is very similar to Saddam Hussein and some of the older dictatorships, where to stay in power they can do whatever they want-- they don't have anyone to regulate them," he noted. However, North Korea's recent bout of aggression, posturing, and saber-rattling was actually instigated by one of the US' military exercises, not Kim Jong Un, Pelton pointed out.

While American troops are dwindling down in Afghanistan, private contractors are on the increase there, he reported. Many retire from the US military, only to get similar jobs as contractors for more money, he explained. "I was surprised at how many contractors were integrated into the fighting force," non-uniformed civilians performing things like intel gathering, interrogations, training, and servicing of equipment, he remarked. If a quick military action is required such as setting up a drone base, "they use contractors because they can call them up and they can be there with exact skills and then they can send them home and nobody knows about it," Pelton revealed.

The real tinderbox today is the evaporation of the middle class all around the world, he stated. The bedrock of stability is being eroded, and predatory government systems like in Cyprus are preying on its citizens, he said. What we're seeing in the Arab Spring is a predominance of young people who have no future economic prospects, and this is a very dangerous trend, he continued. Afghanistan is experiencing an extraordinary brain drain-- all the young people that worked with Americans because of the aid money, are getting visas to Europe, and "that's what's going to plunge Afghanistan back into the stone age," he warned.

Now we can place that into perspective or we can continue propping up the levins and that brood of microphone jockeys with the dumbing down they hand the sheep every day. Social crap that doesn't hold any relevance to anything at all. The "Shut Up!Listen!" gag. "Hey, your politician is too short" or "how about that haircut?", "What does so and so on the radio have to say about gay marraige?" Fuggin dumb shit...

Never. Not in Texas. The Socialists don't have enough time to convert this state before the collapse hits. When the collapse hits, there will be two types of states: those that secede, and those that turn in their guns.

Texas will be seceding.

Or at least, that's one of the few scenarios that I can imagine where my liberties don't continue to get further and further ass fucked for the rest of my life, so I have to hang on to a little bit of hope, k?

If Feinstein really said that they are trying to dry up the civilian ammo supply on CNN then there should be a tube of it. It would explain and clarify so MUCH! If anyone has this saved on DVR or a link to a YT vid of her actually saying this then PLEASE POST IT.

The one from MSNBC, she said a couple times she wanted to dry up the weapon supply, but nothing about ammo (see this thread):

It's interesting that Austin is known as a great music town and hotbed of artists. What is the correlation between being "artistic" and being Democrat? I guess that's why even though I love music I'll never be a great musician.

I was a good musician in my younger years and Im quite artsy in an engineering sort of way. If you mean flowery pastel paintings and the like then you're probably just stereotyping. Ive found Paulites to be quite artistic and creative and most are not Democrats.

If you take any stock in temperament tests, about 30% of the population are Artisans or creators (http://www.keirsey.com/4temps/artisan_overview.asp)... who are more focused on the present and not the past or the future. So they see people hurting now and want solutions now. Guns are hurting people now >>> We need to ban guns now.

Also I would really suggest the short book Anti-Capitalist Mentality by Von Mises (https://mises.org/etexts/anticap.pdf). It helped me understand why intelligent people can so easily get caught up in anti-capitalist mindset.

Like Doug Stanhope says in his new CD, "if you tell people your an artist it probably means your unemployed." I'm sure the likes of the artist community think the general public should pay for artistic adventures. Wasn't Hitler a huge supporter of the arts?
