Some people here in the Nashville area have had some VERY good success at getting voters at parades.

Organize a meetup and go to EVERY Christmas parade in your region! Wear Ron Paul clothing, signs, banners, and literature! People who attend parades more than likely vote.

We had two vehicles in the local parade last night.
Had a couple pretty young girls passing Freedom cards and SlimJims.
Good response was observed.

North Alabama meetups will be attending at least 5-10 parades! They sound like fun!!! (especially since we will be SITTING on the floats rather than walking.

This past weekend our meet up group was in our local Christmas parade - our theme was Restore the Constitution and we have a very good response and with the help of the Santa Rosa meet up group we gave out over 2000 slim jims.

Here are some photos:

Ten of us carried these lanterns, each with an article. Notice the tricorn hats we made ;)

Huntsville parade is this Saturday, and it will be televised live, and then on Christmas!!! They will talk about our float as it goes by! I'll get some better pics Saturday during the day.

People really like this and we got EXCELLENT responses!

Yeah terrific job - wish we could have gotten a big float like that but oh well - still got our message across and Ron's name out there and that's what matters. We did get 4 new meet up members the next day and for our small area that is pretty good :)

Yeah - I think this is still effective if you actually go out and just mingle with the people holding signs, and passing out literature asking for votes.

Nashville had GREAT success with this last night. THOUSANDS saw our Ron Paul signs and banners, and apparently some people were won over.

This needs to be done in EVERY CITY!

We did one last night... it was great... a lot of people wanted information.

Where can I host some pictures? I have an adapter which plugs into the cig lighter and then makes an outlet, so we lit the truck up like a Christmas tree with LED lights.

We are hitting the parades but we didn't meet the deadlines for floats and so we get there just before the parade starts when people are lining the streets. We quickly go down the line handing out slim jims to people (most of whom have been staking out a spot for an hour or more and are a captive audience). We can hand out hundreds if not a thousand or more depending on the parade. Thus far we have had great success with this. We just hand them the slim jim and move on, Most of them are bored from waiting for the parade to start and they read it. We do get quite a few who stop us and want to talk more in depth and if we can we do or maybe just give them the websites or meetup address, it depends. We have a parade this evening which I believe will have well over a thousand people there. Good way to get the message to a lot of people quickly. Only a very few will say no thanks and then we just move on quickly so no worries. The people are in a great mood to start with and so they are more receptive than in general. You've got to move quickly though before the parade catches up as no one wants to be distracted from the parade.

Santa suits! Wear a santa suit and hold a sign that says "Santa wants you to vote for Ron Paul!"

Outside the Civic Center in Manchester, NH (in the freezing snow), we had a Santa holding a sign and greeting people.

...Along with, "Cops love Ron Paul!" I also let a voicesterous "Santa loves Ron Paul too!" slip out. ;) (This is after pleasant conversation with the officer about how he couldn't share his viewpoints.)
