President Obama’s approval ratings have dipped when it comes to his handling of the deficit, immigration and gun control, according to a new poll.
A new CNN/ORC International poll found that while Obama's approval numbers have bumped up to 51 per cent, opinion has fallen concerning the big issues on his agenda.
On the issue of guns, 45 percent approve and 52 percent disapprove, the poll found.
In January, 46 percent approved and 49 percent disapproved.
Forty-four percent approve of the way he is handling immigration, which is down from 51 percent in January. Disapproval has risen to 50 percent, up from 43 percent in January.
When it comes to the deficit, 38 percent approve of his handling of the issue, down from 41 percent in January, while disapproval ticked up slightly to 58 percent from 57 percent.
