So some good news in between all the bleak ones off late.

Cross-posting from a delegate on FB from today's CD-6 convention:

6th District is officially liberated thanks to the LiberTEA winning slate of AJ Daoud (Tea), Steve Herr 1st Vice Chair (Liberty), Jeff Hyde 2nd Vice Chair (Tea), and the rest down the line is mostly Tea. Same story for the 6th District Exec Comm members.

Apologies to Glen Bradley and Jacque Esslinger who drove all the way to Danbury only to find out they weren't letting candidates speak (only after Claude Pope spoke, of course, and Jack Brosch had to force his way to the stage for his speech). At the end, a couple of us made a motion to allow surrogates to speak for NCGOP Vice Chair candidates which was shot down by the Chairman immediately.

Regardless, good day, and definitely worth the trip out to the middle of nowhere for a few hours on a bright and sunny Saturday.

They didn't let Gunny speak.

LiberTEA is Tea Party here in NC and is an ally. (80% friend, not 20% enemy.)
