*Getting Ron Paul the Presidential Nomination from Iowa*

Ron Paul Republicans will announce their campaign to begin registering new Republicans as Ron Paul supporters and voters at a rally on June 30^th timed to coincide with the Forum from which their candidate has been excluded their spokesman said today.

The drive and other information will be announced on the radio show, The Spiritual Politician <http://www.bbsradio .com/spiritualpo litician/ spiritual_ politician. php> this afternoon at 4pm Pacific time as well. Listen in for the details.

Ben Olson, Interim Chairman of the group said, "Ron Paul is the candidate for all Americans and if we can at one time return the Republican Party to its roots and get Iowa's nomination for a man of impeccable honor then that is what needs doing."

Olson, a life time Iowan and farmer, went on to say, "Congressman Ron Paul doesn't just say he is the Champion of the Constitution. He is exactly that. More, he is the best friend of America's tax payers and the only voice for peace who clearly means to bring us home."

Ben Olson continued, adding that Ron Paul Republicans of Iowa will make sure that Iowans who care about America have a voice for the caucuses; the Republican Party," he said sadly, "has failed in its charge to represent the people's interests and provide them with the means for speaking out and being heard.

Olson closed with, "most Iowans believe in small, local government, in communities and families and individuals doing it themselves. People know best how to spend their money and should make their own decisions using their God-given rights without the constant and expensive interference of a government that doesn't know its head from a hole in the ground."

Car pools will be available. Olson said that those interested in joining and working for Paul should bet in touch with Christy Welty at ispiritkin@yahoo. com <mailto:ispiritkin@yahoo. com> or call her at 641-472-4426. Ben and Sylvia Olson's contact information is bensyl@evertek. net <mailto:bensyl@evertek. net> 712-335-4049

Christy Welty, Fairfield Town Councilwoman, has accepted the position of Coordinator for the effort. A long time resident of Iowa Ms. Welty home schools her two children and has admired Dr. Paul for many years.

The group will provide coordination for the ongoing registration drive, building at the same time an understanding of the original vision for small government, low taxes, and the inherent nature of our individual rights granted not by government but by God.

Following the original American model for getting things done the group will be organized entirely from the grass roots, working to show how the people can do it themselves and keep the power at the most local level.

The coordinating site is going up this weekend.

I would think that the different organizations that are planning to provide venues at the June 30 event would work together to create one large multifaceted event instead of each group doing it's own thing off in the corner by themselves. The Ron Paul campaign should be working with the Ron Paul Republicans and others to make this a major event. Mutual cooperation will work to everyones benefit.
