I understand those particular missiles are fakes and 'not very good ones' from other articles about the display but regardless....

If it is real and it works, it would have to be fueled at the launch site , cannot be moved while fueled , they claim to have tested it successfully in 09 , I doubt that.If it worked, range, maybe 2900 Kilometers , payload maybe 1000 kg. ......

There is supposed to be a sea based variant , I doubt that , but it would be more of potential problem ....

And probably would get shot out of the sky if that.

What would you imagine our response would be? Even if North Korea launched a nuclear munition at a base in South Korea?

As one of the most reasonable, informed, Americans I know. :)

Yes if it is land based , it should be shot down, then they might be out .

I'm trying to dispel all of this war mongering before it gains tracks. Should we lose sleep over these North Korean threats in your opinion?

Their 'scary' (lol) videos make me laugh more than anything.

They are starting work at the back of the nuclear facility they tore down to prove they weren't working on nuclear any more. The articles are saying if they get it up and running they will be able to produce enough nuclear material for about one bomb a year.

We are 'over the next few weeks' moving another anti missile system to Guam.

No one seems to be in any great hurry.

Defense chief says North's missile movement not aimed at U.S. mainland

By Kim Eun-jung
SEOUL, April 4 (Yonhap) -- South Korean Defense Minister Kim Kwan-jin said Thursday that North Korea has moved an intermediate-range missile to its east coast for an imminent test firing or military drill, but it does not seem to be aimed at striking the U.S. mainland.

In a parliamentary defense committee meeting, Kim refuted media reports that Pyongyang has moved a KN-08 missile, which is believed to have a range of 10,000 kilometers, into position to strike the U.S.
