BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A 24-year-old Navy veteran is in intensive care after being shot by city police Thursday night. His family tells WJZ that he was testing out a shotgun after being the victim of a home invasion.

Mike Schuh spoke exclusively to the man’s father.

Police say officers responded to reports of shots fired Thursday night outside a home in the 8700-block of Danville Avenue.

“The went to the rear of the location to investigate. They encountered an individual that was armed with a shotgun. During the course of that encounter, one of our officers discharged, striking the suspect,” said Sgt. Eric Kowalczyk, police spokesman.

the officers have been getting primed by splc reports disguised as official government missives delivered via fusion center. these guys are ready to pull the trigger on everyone.

I don't blame the cops I blame the dog owner. Maybe the home owner should have had him on a chain or fenced in? Oh, wait.................

Unbelievable. Unless you frequent RPFs of course...

I'm not defending the cops here by any stretch, but this doesn't look like a wise place to be shooting a gun(of any type) in your backyard in this first place:

I don't think this guy deserved what he got, but I've got next to zero sympathy for him, either, because that was beyond stupid to expect to fire a shotgun in the FUCKING CITY LIMITS OF BALTIMORE, the king shithole of all shithole cities, and expect, what - nothing to happen?

Well, apparently, very many of the genuine criminals/killers in Baltimore somehow manage to get away with it ...

i wonder if he knew that in the city limits you cant fire a gun?

im from the country and moved to a city about 2 years ago. the first thing i wanted to do was target practice but the wife told me the law. i seriously didnt know that firing a gun on my property wasnt allowed. now i do and understand why. but even at that, i want to knows if the cops gave him any warning before firing on him. i doubt it.
