Mayor Bloomberg admits soon NYPD surveillance cameras will be on nearly every corner and in the air.

'You wait, in five years, the technology is getting better, they'll be cameras everyplace . . . whether you like it or not,' Bloomberg said Friday. 'The argument against using automation is just this craziness that 'Oh, it's Big Brother.' Get used to it!' Big Brother is watching. Now get used to it!

He needs to get caught on video doing something embarrassing, and then someone put it out on the internet.

The people that support Big Brother are those who think they stand to benefit from it. And the truth is that most people are not in a position that Big Brother is going to do them any good what so ever. Just look at London and its 10 million (literally) surveillance cameras. The crime rate has not dropped, and the number of true criminal offenses has not increased one damn bit. Once technology gets to the point where they can use their surveillance technology, every single person on the planet that unknowingly commits their average of three felonies per day will be prosecuted for each and every single offense. It will inevitably continue until the mere discussion of "what is wrong with our government and how do we fix it" (in any country) will be considered an Act of Terrorism. Revolution must first start with a small group of irate people who first discuss what the problems are. If those discussions are "Prohibited", then your revolution will never get off the ground. Technology will be used to strangle the life out of Liberty. If you think Privacy is not important because you have nothing to hide, think again, and tell me how much you value your Privacy when you are spending the rest of your life on Gitmo or what ever comes after that for the crime of supporting Ron Paul.

It isnt the Technology itself that is necessarily Good or Evil, but the way that it is used. The powers that be will do nothing short than to use the technology to maintain the Status Quo. No one holds our Govt accountable for its actions. And no one can hold those that control the Govt accountable either. But everyone else on the Take will be able to hold you accountable for even the most minor of infractions. When smoking is outlawed, your Insurance Provider (or Obamacare, the differences are negligible) will hold you accountable. Fail to buckle your seat belt? Again, your Insurance Company is gonna jack up your rates. Eat Salt or Bacon? Again, this will fall into the jurisdiction of Governance by Corporate Policy. They dont care about catching Criminals where there is a real Victim, they are going to enforce the shit out of all of their Victimless Crimes. And the bigger of a threat you are to the Status Quo, the more these Victimless Crime Infringements will be slapped against you in order to remove your ability to focus on the real problem at hand. The flip side is that those in the Status Quo will not be held accountable for anything because they will have their own Privacy while leaving you with none to protect yourself with.

Technology is NOT getting better. It is however beoming ever increasingly more intrusive. Quite a few years ago, Einstein said that we have reached a point where our Technology has surpassed our Humanity. And when Technology is used to enslave the entire planet, this should come as no suprise. The window of opportunity for Liberty and Freedom is quickly vanishing. Yet, the mentality of the average person now believes that their Privacy stands in their way of a "normal life" and "getting discounts" (read: blackmail, let us track you or we will not give you any discounts). People dont speak to each other any more. Try going to a bar. People would rather text each other while sitting right next to each other than to open their mouths and actually talk. And it is the mentality of these people that undermines the fabric of Privacy, which in turn is destroying the opportunity for Liberty to survive.

I don't see this guy making it through the rest of this year. He has made too many people mad, someone somewhere is going to take him out.

Yeah, namely, the Banksters, and they're taking him out for a night out on the town, fine wines and the best drugs money can pay DEA agents to confiscate, and whoring.
