No screenings in Charlotte? Bummer. :(

Still, the movie looks great, and I'm super-excited to see it. Hope it goes national soon.

There is a thread about this in the economics and sound money section. Not much excitement there. Maybe it will get more here? http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?406490-Tom-Woods-amp-the-founders-of-Daily-Paul-and-Cop-Block-talk-about-Silver-Circle&highlight=Silver+circle

Tom Woods and the founders of Daily Paul and Cop Block attended the world premiere of Silver Circle at Chunky's Cinema Pub in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Tom Woods, Peter Eyre, Michael Nystrom, and many more familiar faces experienced Silver Circle in its theater debut on the opening night of Liberty Forum. Chunky's Cinema Pub in Nashua, NH was sold out with over 100 guests! Watch and see what everyone thought!

Don't know what Silver Circle is?

Cool. I'd love to make the Round Rock/Austin event, but not sure I'll be able to swing it.

There is already a Round Rock event, right? Is there something I am missing here? Was it cancelled? If so, why?

There probably could be one if someone local set one up =D

Someone already did. Help would likely be helpful, though. http://www.silvercirclemovie.com/events/

April 18. I live ~3.5 hours away. Not sure I will be able to make it. Would definitely see it if/when it hits Houston.

I'm right there with ya. I just watched half of the trailer. I hope the dialogue isn't too much like an elementary lecture. I feel like I got a little bit of that in the trailer. I can also see the argument for not allowing any of the message to escape dimwitted people, but then quality plummets imo. I guess it's a balancing act.

My favorite movie of all time is Fight Club. Of course one of my dimwitted friends thought nothing of the movie. He didn't get the message in it, he just saw fighting. I watched it many times, each time uncovering a little more. It was like discovering nuggets of gold every time. It was too layered and fast paced for him. Major bummer.

I would say someone should make a liberty movie inspired just a little bit by Fight Club's incredible storytelling, but it's impossible. They would mess it up. Guaranteed.

I worked a comic book convention with Silver Circle, and we promoted it only to comic book fans at that event. After passing out thousands of flyers on the floor of the event, we had a packed screening, and everyone stayed for the whole film and loved it. There were virtually no pro-Liberty people in the audience, so I've personally watched the movie screen in front of people who have no understanding of the Fed issue, and they suspended disbelief and enjoyed the plot and character development. There is a perfect balance between the educational stuff (which sits more in the background, where you learn it by the end of the film, but it's not always in your face) to where people who are not in our camp already ideologically will have a lot of fun watching the film.
