Paris may be known as the City of Light, but that title certainly doesn’t mean that visitors are light on spending as Vice President Joe Biden’s one day trip cost taxpayers more than half a million dollars.
When Mr Biden and his hefty entourage stayed in Paris for an evening in early February and it cost $585,000.50 for that single night.
The Vice President likely rented out more than 100 rooms in the Hotel Intercontinental Paris Le Grand, though they must not have gotten a group discount rate.

Well,on the same trip he did only spend $460,000 for his one night in a London hotel.I guess it averages out,is it too late to apologize?

The U.S. State Department owns three buildings in Paris to support its diplomatic, consular, trade and cultural activities which are: the Embassy of the United States in Paris, the Hôtel de Pontalba also called Hôtel Rothschild (U.S. Ambassador’s residence), and the Hôtel Talleyrand. Rand needs to slip in an Amendment to sell these buildings off and return the money to the treasury. BTW why the f*ck didn't Biden stay at one of these two state dept. owned hotels? Could Biden possibly be a bigger asshole?

Or at least slip a bill saying that all U.S. government employees need to reside their when in country accept at their own expense.
