I was trying to convert the time and figured it would be the middle of the day here the same time as 8:30 pm in London- figuring my lights would be off anyways- but I see they ask that you do it at 8:30 pm in whatever time zone you live in.

I don't waste electricity to begin with. It costs too damn much. But I'm not sitting in the dark for an hour to appease environmentalists.

My view also. Except the missus just said that we are going to observe it. She said we are gonna turn off all electric and light a few candles. Then she said we are gonna get down and dirty. She said that I damn well better care enough about the planet to give it more than just an hour.
