It was unclear what bills Reed would actually bring to the floor for a vote. For example, he wouldn't let the AWB come to the floor.

He had struck that and the assault weapon ban from the package he was bringing to the floor. Now he put this back in.

Plan B my butt! This has been plan A since 1934. Have you not read your history? When GCA 1934 was being pushed it was as a universal tax on all long guns and hand guns. Google News Archive from that period and read for yourself. The socialists were attempting universal registration through taxation. UBC is designed to accomplish the same thing within a generation as they are handed down. Anyone who believes that information once digital just disappears is extremely naive.
