Can Rand claim copyright infringement? BTW McConnell's choice for graphics look like something from the FDR years.

I hope Rand is not "powerfully" kicked to the curb after the 2014 midterms..

This is Jesse Benton using his new position to intentionally troll us (and probably Senator Paul). I'd be mad if it wasn't such expert trolling (http://trolling.urbanup.com/4250942).

This graphic only helps us.
Rand needs to be considered more of a mainstream option - people area "concerned" about his foreign policy, don' ya know? All this acceptance being shown by "old dogs" and party leadership makes him less scary to the voters we usually butt heads with.

Even if they don't vote for him an choose someone else ... at least they won't consider him a full fledged enemy like they did Ron.

It's hilarious because he is literally just attaching himself to Rand's name.

"STAND WITH RAND!! ...and mitch."

Incidentally, this is actually awesome for Rand. The more other candidates ride his coattails, the more well-known and powerful in politics he becomes.

The more candidates that do this, the better.

With what we know about benton and McConnell. Do some here have such a strong urge to win the national that will have rand in bed with everyone. Not big on seriously corrupt bedfellows. assholes. Once we lose the vision of principle this movement will be another gear in the machine.

Well, right now I think Rand is only playing the game - not getting in bed with shaddy bed-fellows ... but I can see how things can escalate into a slippery slope scenario.

Just following your concern- if Rand did lose many of his principles and was reduced to a much more simple agenda I think he is still likely to be the "best option" for 2016 (which isn't always enough to earn my vote) and a victory by him would still be a victory for the liberty movement as long as he doesn't go completely to the dark side.
It will help make liberty a more discussed talking point, etc. and we'll be in a better position for better candidates later (Amash for example).

I don't think Rand is on a slippery slope at the moment.
I'm just responding to a "what if" scenario.

Even though it is lame, I think we should take it as a positive. This is another sign that the old politicians see the change that is coming and that they will at least have to fake it if they want to survive. This is the moment of "If you can't beat em, join em"!

Why is Amash a better candidate than Rand? Amash agrees with Rand on almost everything, including free trade agreements, sanctions, Afghanistan/Bin Laden and Romney.

It's kinda annoying when people say Rand sucks and Amash is somehow far superior. Both would make great presidents, but Rand's the only one who could realistically win a presidential race.

I'm certain that Rand would make a better president than Amash, and that is no knock on Amash. Rand already has gravitas, is forceful, and he's politically cunning. Rand plays to win. Amash doesn't even play. And there is NOTHING wrong with either approach, in fact, both are necessary.

There's nothing wrong with this. It shows just how popular he is when the most powerful Republican in the Senate is desperately trying to attach himself with Rand. By 2014 Rand could be viewed as the kingmaker which imo would bode well for him in 2016.
