Will anything be done to stop this trend?

people have to get fired up about something. That's easier said than done, but local candidates or issues that can be used to galvanize is the only thing I can suggest if national issues aren't 'immediate enough' to local involvement.

What ever happened to "Dr. Paul cured my apathy"? Frustrating for those of us who work our asses off for liberty to see our own people disappearing when we need them the most.

Unfortunately, this isn't just Iowa. This is a trend across many states. I realize there is always a post-election lull, but this is worse than usual.

If it makes you guys feel better, I was elected to co-chair of my county party. I don't think our successes are being reported. The Iowa Republican is making sure to report all of our loses though. It is having the planned demoralizing effect. I know of a couple victories that have not been reported and will leave it that way as to not stir up trouble.
